It is one of the few cars Elvis Presley owned and drove privately.
The car, which was for sale, has now been sold and is with a new owner in Austria.

When it was parked outside Zlatan’s previous residence in Malmö, thieves lifted it into the air and stole the wheels and rims. However, the rims later returned, though the details remain unknown. After Zlatan, the car was owned by another well-known sports figure, the trotting icon Lutfi Kolgjini. Today, it is part of the Motala Motormuseum collection.

Large youth gangs had gathered in the park over several evenings, leading to disturbances, and the police found themselves under pressure. At one point, a police officer was thrown into Nybroviken.

The jury’s statement: “The Motor Museum is always on its toes with new themes that complement an already strong base exhibition. It has been highlighted in international media during the year and continues to be one of Motala’s strongest attractions as well as Sweden’s most visited car museum.”

The new exhibition mainly features motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds.

Among the displays is a collection of unique motorcycles that were owned and restored by the racing driver Einar Lindqvist.

For the first time outside of Stockholm, we will showcase, among other things, an armored Lincoln that was brought over from the USA to drive Nikita Khrushchev during his state visit in 1962. Only Khrushchev had the honor of being driven in this car as it broke down after the visit. We will also feature a 1966 Cadillac that has transported several heads of state, including Indira Gandhi. These cars belong to the Police Museum in Stockholm.
